Just thought i'd tell a little about yesterday....Mom had a lot going on-1st day of therapy of the NEW YEAR!!
In addition she had her new hearing aid delivered-cutom made and replaces one that was lost in CCU in the hospital......
SHe had 2 ladies form her group at church to visit her and she seemed to recognize them and enjoy their visit-i talked with one of them later last evening.,..
ANd she the had a visit from my friend Linda and i who very sweetly fixed her hair-Mom has curls again and looks so much more like herself! We then proceeded to wheel around thru the halls and tour a little...even bundled her up snug and warm and wheeled her briefly outside to see the moon!! LInda's idea for the fresh air, which after ll this time must've seemed wonderful to Mom!
After all this she was ready to get back in bed and am sure was going to rest soundly... some of the techs seem to be moving her with much more ease than before from bed to wheelchair and back...
Anyway, there's a glimpse into Mom's Tuesday! Looking forward to what's ahead this week....
